If he has all the stock parts then it can be put back together... but some of it may have been cut or lost.

let’s be honest, if you were within 10kms of someone selling a bike you’d be buying it.

I want to know about the coating on the pipes. I love that color. I’m guessing it’s JetHot?

It saddens me that you can no longer purchase a dry clutch Ducati new. This is just an attempt to recapture that experience, but it will never work properly, if it doesn’t sound like a washing machine full of bolts falling down a flight of stairs it’s just not right...

once upon a time the trade of was worth it. not anymore.
![]() 04/07/2017 at 04:33 |

The only trade off I found was that it was noisy as hell. But I’m weird and I liked it.
![]() 04/07/2017 at 04:36 |

power noise and clutch plate life suffered tremendously.

I never experienced any dramatic drop off in performance, but yeah, it was loud and the disappearance of the dry clutch was pretty much guaranteed when Euro 3 came in.

questions;
1. how long all up to do
2. what are the benefits of hydraulic clutch over cable operated system
![]() 04/07/2017 at 05:19 |
|
1: no idea. couple of hours?
2: you can run a strong clutch, possibly more fluid lever, no cable fraying.

Y not both?
There is a 748 for sale near me for 3.2k

Just worried about the open ones with stuff getting inside.
On a related noted, holy sh*t those are expensive! https://www.amazon.com/Ducabike-Clutch-Ducati-Diavel-Hypermotard/dp/B00NGFG8DE

Yes!!!
![]() 04/07/2017 at 10:54 |
|
yea, they aint cheap.
than again, the side cover for the motor is ~900 from Ducati, so this is cheaper AND cooler

Can’t argue with that!
